About Us

About UsAfter many years in the UK Thandiwe Strouthos and her husband, Peter, decided to return to her Native South Africa. They purchased a plot in Vrede, Free State and had a house built there. It soon became apparent that in the local township, Thembalihle, poverty and deprivation was the norm. The inordinate amount of children that were orphans, high unemployment, the area having virtually no industry as such.

It is a well known fact that the country has a very high rate of HIV/AIDS and in spite of various campaigns by Government and other organizations there is tremendous work still to be done to educate people of the dangers.
We decided that any contribution we could make to ease the suffering of the children in particular, would be welcomed.
